
Between 24 and 26 October 2007 held the second meeting of Art and Crime: as interdisciplinary seminars with the title of love, passion, creation and destruction. Activity welcomed the Palacio de la Diputación de Cádiz thanks to the sponsorship and organization of the Provincial Cultural Foundation, which now assumes the new edition of this second issue of the test series. The
convened on this occasion we were to consider and debate about love, the criminalization of love, love as the element projected in the work of art and, in essence, passion and its links with artistic creation and personal destruction. The sessions were intense, the lively discussions and the participation of speakers and audience is always engaged. We went back to see how to put on the table discarded thoughts and emotions of everyday fans thought, freedom alerts and removes sleeping attitudes. We face new learning without moral overload, convinced that the only way we could, together, understand and appreciate the flesh of certain passions and excitement of certain crimes. The tangible result is this book that we would like show the greater immediacy of the conference experience.
The list of Art and Crime is becoming very extensive, it starts to become a network full of knots friendlies, meeting in this space, talk to disagreements but with the same language and the same vocation of understanding. By prefacing this volume, we express our sincere thanks to the authors and do our utmost respect for students and attendees who made it possible, again, the dialogue. And of course thank the Foundation of Culture Provincial Deputation of Cadiz and the Publications Service, whose officials are not providing the privilege of this utopia.
